... imitation plastic green sludge coming from its lid area. It certainly looked the part of Toxic waste, tasting would give the answer. I unwrapped a Black Cherry one and it smelled delicious, the cherry scent was divine and I thought this ain't gonna be too bad. It wasn't long before the dark red sweet was back in the wrapper. It was so sour I could not keep it in my mouth for very long, but like an idiot I did place it in my mouth again to venture another go at defeating the sourness. Likewise with the lemon only this ...more

Toxic Waste Sour Candy: I will win (711 words)

Intro Well I thought it would be hard to find a sweet that I didn't like enough to buy again, and in part I was correct. For I did not purchase these, my son gave me them in a rather muddled gift for Fathers day. The reason I can review them now is that it has taken this long to sample each flavour from the clever little plastic tub, which contains the sweets. Toxic Waste I like bitter lemon boiled sweets and I really did believe it would be hard to get anything tasting quite a sour as these, but once again I was wrong. I was about to discover how three of my favourite flavours could dramatically fall down in my estimations. These ...  Read the complete review

Lots of sweets / candy advertise themselves as sour. And in more cases than not, they fail to live up to their description. However, Toxic waste is another story. These sweets really are the most sour thing I have ever eaten. You can only eat a couple before your tounge starts to hurt. They come in a nice package, a bright solid plastic drum with a replaceable lid. It's really good quality packaging, something you could reuse for something else. Inside are individually wrapped sweets in 4 flavours: Cherry watermelon Apple Lemon You don't get a great deal of sweets for the price. A tub is about £1.10 and you get about ...  Read the complete review

Toxic Waste Sour Candy: Too sour for me!! (303 words)

I first tried Toxic waste when i was around 9, It was on a school trip and i could hear people shouting and laughing and could see this strange bin like tub. I found them in the shop when i got home and tried one in the car. It was SO sour i had to spit it out and my mum wasn't best pleased. I then tried again and again untill i could finish one. There not lieing when they call it "hazardously sour candy". It phisically burns your tongue. But once you get past the really sour outside the sweet tastes like any other hard boiled sweet. But once you bite into it, it had a sherbet middle that is slighly sour, but not as bad as the outside. I had a bad ...  Read the complete review

Super sour attack (186 words)

Quite possibly the sourest sweet around! This candy is sold in bright yellow plastic conainers that are made to resemble an overflowing toxic waste container. There are five different flavours in the pack including watermelon, apple, leom, blue raspberry and black cherry. You may think from looking at the flavours that the lemon would be the most sour flavour however this is not the case, the watermelon is the sourest by a long shot! The products is aimed at children, as most sweet products are, but many children could not possibly put one of these sweets in their mouth and eat the whole thing without having to take it out at least once due to the ...  Read the complete review
