These 8ft Bestway swimming pools are great for the summer!
Theres more than enough room for for 2 adults and 3 children as we found out!!

You only need to inflate the top ring then let the hose pipe do the rest of the work for you! Ok, they take an absolute age to fill, about 1-2 hours which is a lifetime when the kiddies nag you for the whole time!! But it's so worth the wait.

The water is icy cold when you first get in and filling one of these pools with buckets of warm water would probably take you the whole day, but with a solar cover the chill is taken off a bit. We tried adding a few buckets of hot water but it really made no difference! The kids don't really notice the cold anyway and it's quite refreshing on a hot summers day.

They are really durable and we filled and emptied ours repeatidly last summer with no problems at all.

If your planning on getting one of these pools for next summer, make sure you get the solar cover to go with it. I would recommend filling it up early in the morning, place the cover and just leave it a few hours because you will see the difference.

Empty the pool by letting down the top ring, and the water will gush over the edges, you may need to lower the side slightly but then the weight of the water will do the rest.

They do need cleaning regularly to ensure the pool keeps mould/mildew free, but should this happen just use a bit of milton sterilizing fluid and a soft brush to rub it off, making sure to rinse well afterwards.

I paid £12.99 for my pool at a discount warehouse nearby, but they are priced at around £20 from most stores. The solar covers are about £8.

You do need the ground to be very flat for these pools to work, or you'll end up with a very shallow end and a deepish end!

They also come in a few different sizes so it would be worth checking would size pool would be most suited to you, but obviously the bigger the pool the more cash your going to have to pay for it.

Ideal for the kids, my boys had a lilo in the pool and the baby was in his inflatable car and they just loved it!
Also fun for the adults (big kids!!) when my boys went on holidays with my mum, we decided to have a pool party!! Oh what fun.

Also it may be worth checking hosepipe restrictions in your area before purchasing one as they do take a lot of water!

Summary: Fantastic pool, better than watching the kids having fun, now you can join in too!
