This is an affordable solution to space saving computing. It's smaller than the average desktop tower unit yet retains many of the features of larger cases, particularly the quality of Antec's more expensive is also found throughout this model. Sure, it only has three 5 ¼ " drive bays but who ever uses more than one or two of these anyway?

It's looks are plain and simple but functional. The case opens, strangely, by undoing two thumb screws at the top back corners and first removing the top panel. The two side panels can then be lifted out. In fact I recommend you always remove both side panels when doing work in the case since the other one has a tendency of falling off if you tip the case or anything without the top panel on!

It has provision for on the back, and indeed is supplied with, a 120mm fan with Antec's Tri-cool feature so you can select the speed. I set mine to minimum and there are no overheating problems at all- even though I am using a passively cooled graphics card. There is also a place to install a smaller 80 mm fan in front of the hard drive bays inside but I haven't used that and had no problems with hard drives overheating. The side panel over the CPU also has a length-adjustable chimney so you are advised to not put this side of the case up against anything too close.

In terms of build quality I think this case represents excellent value for money. It currenty retails for around £40 to £50 although I got mine 3 years ago for quite a lot less than this. Everything has been put together very well and it is pretty easy to install everything. Antec supply you with all the screws and bolts you could ever need.
