The power supply (PSU) was making some suspicious groaning noises, so it was time to get a new one. Sure, my machine was still under warranty, but it was an off-site warranty, and rather than go through all the hassle of sending off my tower (it was a full, HUGE tower!) and doing without my PC for several weeks, I decided to take on the task myself and look for a replacement. GlobalWin 802 ... you’re not interested in Computer Hardware then you may not find this the most interesting of reviews, sorry :) GlobalWin is a company that’s not very well known for making computer cooling parts but at least it’s better known for making computer cooling parts than it’s known for making computer cases. Probably because it doesn’t actually make them. See, the enduringly monikered 802 is actually the CS-802PX made by ‘A-Pro’. AOpen HT08 ... is a beast of a case - It's HUGE! As a full tower case, it sports 13 drive bays 1 x 3.5" floppy drive (at the top of the case - make sure you've got a long enough lead!) 5 x 5.25" drive bays (suitable for CD Roms etc) - all of these are externally accessible 7 x 3.5" internal drive bays (suitable for hard drives) This case also has space at the top (above the power supply) for a further two fans - beware though, as if fitted internally, these will make the 4 drive bays in front of these fans unusable.
