Its scalability, however, puts it in a class by itself. Users can easily increase its performance and maximize capacity the field by adding drives and cartridge slots, scaling up to 6 drives and 60 cartridges without increasing the size of the library. The Scalar 100 's connectivity options also support network growth. Simple plug-in modules allow it to operate as a SCSI library, a FiberReady SAN library or a network attached archive. Managing the Scalar 100 is easy with its intuitive operator interface and integrated web management.
