With Compaq's DLT IV 1700-foot cartridge, this DLT drive achieves a native capacity of 20GB and a 40GB capacity with 2:1 data compression. It is also read and write compatible with Compaq's DLT IIIxt 1100-foot data cartridge. For more information on Compaq's data cartridges, click on the Accessories button on this page. Compaq's 20/40GB tape drive provides enhanced fault monitoring to diagnose tape errors. It also features 10 multicolor LED lights to indicate density, write protection, load/unload, tape in use, and insert cleaning cartridge.
