IBM 3580 Model H23 ... Ultrium 2 200 GB data cartridges, the Ultrium 2 tape drives offer 35 MB per second native data transfer rates and cartridge capacity up to 200 GB native (400GB with 2: 1 compression). LTO tape cartridge media is interchangeable across all Linear Tape-Open Ultrium tape solutions and provides a migration path for DLT, 1/4-inch, 4mm, and 8mm tape applications.

The IBM 3580 Models H23 offer multiple platform connectivity to IBM eServer iSeries, pSeries and xSeries Servers, IBM AS/400, RS/6000 SP, and Netfinity systems, and selected non-IBM servers. The IBM 3580 Models H23 Linear Tape-Open (LTO) Ultrium 2 External Tape Drive features an Ultra/Wide SCSI High Voltage Differential (HVD) interface.
