Sony SDZ-S100 ... backup. With the ability to store up to 1.3 TB of compressed data on a half-inch tape cartridge, SAIT-1 drives are the first standalone drives to break the 1TB capacity barrier. Sustained data transfer rates for the drives reaches up to 78 MB per second (30 MB/sec native) for efficient data recording and fast data recovery. The external SAIT-1 drives easily fit into 19-inch racks when used with rack mount kits that are available separately.
