Advantages: Lovely taste, not as strong as pure green tea
Disadvantages: None
I have failed recently on cutting back on my intake of coffee and strong tea drinks since Christmas, the work days are just too long and stressful. I recently bought a box of this Green Tea with Lemon made by Clipper to get me back into my healthy hot drinks.
The Brand
Clipper teas are one of my favourite brands to buy, I love their ethics, packaging and huge choice and selection of drinks that they offer. These Green Tea with Lemon teabags come in a lovely small and compact cardboard box, as with most of these products the main colour is green. There is a cute little white teacup with a lemon hanging off the top of the cup and the tea flavour written on the front of the packaging. The box opens to the top and inside there are 50 of the flavoured tea bags present. These are split into two lots of 25 and sealed in a foil wrapping to keep them nice and fresh. The top of the box can be resealed with the push down flap for even more freshness.
The Brew
The teabags are flat and circular, you use one per cup of tea. For the perfect cup of tea boil a kettle and leave it to settle for thirty/forty seconds after boiling. Then fill a cup with your desired amount of water and drop in your green tea and lemon bag. You can leave this to infuse for as long as you want. The longer you leave it the stronger your brew flavour will be! I leave my tea bags in whilst I drink the whole cup for a rich and full bodied flavour. This is one of the nicest green teas I have tried and it is all down to the hint of lemon. Green tea does not require/taste nice with milk, so healthy and low-calorie hot drink.
The tea itself is infused with lemon peel and enhanced with natural lemon flavour. I think that the lemon taste overpowers the green tea taste and makes it a much more smooth and refreshing taste experience.I cannot smell the lemon flavour in the cup, but the taste more than makes up for this. Clipper state that this is just as nice prepared iced, which I think I really need to try! It is a lovely alternative to normal tea and like drinking a clean and refreshing hot lemon drink.
As most people know green tea has many health benefits and drinking it is very good for your body and overall health, containing antioxidants.

My favourite new tea from Clipper. I got this on special offer in Tesco for £1 for 50 teabags, which I think is a bargain! This is also available from Clipper.com and online supermarkets. Also available in boxes of 25's.
Summary: A great drink for a healthy lifestyle!
