Don't leave the teabag in and go for a nap.

My Grandma Loves this tea, so initially I purchased it as a present when i was going to see her. Since then I have gone back for more for me. It's is a good strong tea with a savoury taste and a good kick of caffeine! Package Rectangular box in black with the usual logo and blurb. Old fashioned picture on top Price 2.75 for 25 only. 11p per cup is more than I pay for standard tea bags usually, but its not very expensive for an occasional brew! Availability Only at Crabtree and Evelyn shops or their online store. My experience The website lists this as 'a full bodied and robust blend ~ the perfect wake-up call'. I would definitely agree! I made the tea as normal, milk in the bottom of the cup, added the tea bag and chucked in some water. I like well flavoured tea, so I left the teabag in and wandered off for a minute. Coming back I was amazed! The tea had morphed from milky white to a golden brown colour, verging on looking stewed which worried me slightly! It wasn't actually overdone in this case, but I have left is too long at other times and the flavour is not good. I left it to cool a little before taking a sip. The flavour is really, really good. It has a healthy savoury, biscuity taste (on that note it tastes REALLY good with biscuits dunked). It isn't a particularly leafy flavour tea and there is no acquired taste to it. I would say it is a strong, but generic flavour. I don't know offhand what the caffeine content is but I know from experience that drinking this in the evening is not a great idea. For me it is a great tea to wake me up in the morning, or keep me awake at work.
