      Disadvantages

Not for me, I'll stick with Twinnings!

I am terrible for drinking too much tea and coffee and energy drinks and I must admit that from time to time I do suffer with the jitters and when that happens I do try to lower my caffeine intake and to drink more water and herbal infusions. I spotted this costing... and decided to give them a whirl as I loved the sound of the mango in a drink! The Packaging: Light yellow box of which the front and back are the same in appearance. There are drawings of mangos and apples on there and I'm told that they are 'Refreshing' Heath & Heather Herb Specialists Apple & Mango 'Naturally Caffeine Free' Fruit And Herbal Infusions and that the weight of the bags is 50g and that there are 20 bags in the box. Other information on the box includes being told a bit about the product, ingredients and storage advice is given, I'm told how to use the bags and contact details for Heath & Heather are listed. Nice enough box and the bags inside are lined up single file. A Bit About The Product According To The Box: At Heath & Heather we've built our reputation on blending fruit and herbal infusions that are free from artificial flavours, preservatives or colouring. We insist on only using the finest ingredients because our customers expect it. As a result you can enjoy a tempting variety of infusions each bursting with individual flavour. Using Them: Boil a kettle, grab a bag which has a cardboard label on it telling us it's Heath & Heather and connected to the bag via a string in a cup or mug or whatever and add water to it and leave it to infuse for 3-5 minutes then dispose of the bag. What you are left with is a very rich burgundy coloured infusion with no aroma to it. Taste wise well the only ingredients used in this are hibiscus, apple pomace, rosehips, natural mango flavour and natural apple flavourings but really it doesn't taste of all that much at all! These are so natural tasting that all I got was coloured water and I don't think the ingredients weren't in there but it wasn't a rich flavoursome drink at all! I could detect some flavourings but really you can drink this anytime of the day, with meals whatever as I found these to be similar to drinking water! Verdict: If you like your hot drinks to really taste then don't bother with this one. Nicely blended this is, no calories and easy to make it is simply a good honest and pure drink but me I won't be buying these again as I found them a bit boring on the taste front to be perfectly honest with you! I paid £1.15 for my box in Tesco but they are available in lots of different supermarkets etc and in different flavours too.
