      Great tasting refreshing tea

I enjoy drinking herbal teas and find them very refreshing so when my friend gave me a pack of the London Tea Company organic white tea and elderflower teas bags I was looking forward to trying them, having previously drunk teas from the same company.

The teas bags come in a recyclable cardboard box and the tea bags are kept fresh in a plastic bag inside the box, they are not individually wrapped. The tea bags are bio-degradable and are an off white, grey colour and are square.

The tea is not genetically modified, contains no preservatives, they are wheat free, suitable for vegetarians and are organic, being approved by the Soil Association.

The box they come in is decorated in pink and pale yellow and has a picture of a woman sitting down at a table reading, with ideas of an English summer drifting out of the mug of tea on the table.

The box contains 20 tea bags in total and you can usually purchase them in supermarkets for around £2-2.50. The box states that the ingredients are organic white tea, organic lemon grass, organic elderflower with natural apricot flavour.

To brew the tea it is suggested that you use one tea bag per person, dropped in hot water for 1-3 minutes. I like my tea to be well brewed and flavoursome so I let it brew for 3-4, or until the hot water is cool enough for me to drink it. I find that if you add cold water to the tea the taste is slightly different. I drink this tea usually in the afternoons to refresh me and also wake me up a little. I have also found that if you let it go cold, it is still pleasant to drink, so if you make it and forget about it it does not go to waste. The flavour is predominately white tea, but the elderflower does come through as does the lemon grass I cannot pick up the individual taste of apricots though.

Overall I would recommend this tea to others as it is well priced, tastes great and is very refreshing.
