Advantages: Cheap, tastes great. refreshing
Disadvantages: From concentrate (for some people this might be unappealing)
I am a huge orange juice fan and tend to drink it pretty often. Despite my love of the drink I still dont think this justifies paying around £3 for a single carton when I could instead buy one for a little under the £1 mark.
I regularly shop in Morrisons and so my brand of juice is the Morrisons value range. The label was once a unattractive ugly black and yellow, much like the Morrisons sign/bags. Now, they have much improved their branding and instead it is a simplistic white with an orange circle with 'Orange Juice' written in. Beside this is a single orange slice, and above 'M Savers' the brand of the drink.
A bottle contains 2litres. This is enough for about 8 cups worth.
The taste is very refreshing and you can buy the two usual varieties for about the same price, that is, smooth and 'with bits'. The ingredients are simply: orange juice from concentrate 100%. This seems a little strange to me that the drink is 100% a single ingredient, but other than issues some people might have with certain drinks being 'concentrate', this is reassuring as its rare these days to see simplistic drinks and food types.
A 200ml serving has 85 calories and there is no Calcium, Vitamin C, Iron and Vitamin A. There is 18g of total carbs.
I prefer it to other known brands such as Tropicana because it is strong yet not too overpowering. Some drinks can leave a very unusual taste in your mouth afterwards, yet this drink doesn't tend to from my experience. It tastes great and is a great compliment to a breakfast meal or even just as a nice break throughout the day. A 2l carton lasts my family pretty long so long as we aren't a little overzealous, and even then 2 cartons cost less than a single carton of a better known brand. It is great value and truly refreshing.
Summary: A great tasting orange juice
