I am not the world's biggest fan of any tea but I do like a cuppa every now and again, that is as long as it is proper tea and not the kind of rubbish that is thrown at us these days like this particular offering from Tetley.

Tetley should know better than to go offering change to their fantastic product but they want a piece of this market too and have released all sorts of different styles of tea. The one I was subjected to recently was Tetley Green Tea with Lemon and my mother in law as good as guaranteed me I would like it, she was so wrong.

It apparently is full of antioxidants and helps clear out your system (it would clear out my system in a different way if I drank too much of it). All this different flavouring and antioxidants are all fine and well but how do you dunk a Digestive biscuit in this garbage??

Even after all the discussions about it that we had, such as it being 92% green tea and the only other things in it being flavouring and lemon peel, the fact that the antioxidants not only clean your system out but also take the place of caffeine and give you that lift that you get from normal tea or coffee but in a healthier way and the fact that it can actually be cheaper than a regular box of tea bags I can still assure you that I wouldn't touch this stuff with a barge pole.

Healthier caffeine free Green tea with lemon at a price we can all afford (working out at about 5p per cup) may seem great to some but not to me. Give me real tea I can dunk my biscuits into, every time!!
