Advantages: Pure and refreshing tea at a reasonable price

Disadvantages: Can be bitter if brewed for too long

I've tried lots of different things to stop me from drinking fizzy cola - water, squashes of various flavours, coffee (didn't work, actually made me feel more tired!) etc, but I think green tea has been one of the most successful.

Tetley Green Tea with Lemon is, I think, the nicest of all of the ones I've tried. When you open the handy cupboard or desk-sized canister you can instantly smell the clean, light scent of the green tea, punctuated with the sharp aroma of the lemon. You know it's going to be a nice brew.

Pop a tea bag into your mug and pour over hot water - leave it for about a minute - and you have your tea. The benefits of green tea are well documented for it's anti oxidant properties. In addition I find it relaxing and, I don't know if it is just me, but I feel good drinking it.

I have to add a little sugar or honey to make it sweeter, but that's purely because I have a very sweet tooth; when I have to sweeten it, I use far less than for a normal cup of tea. And the canister lasts nicely and is reasonably priced. You can also buy boxes of 25 teabags for about £1.80 from the major supermarkets. However, I try to find the little canisters as I can reuse them as coin-saving tubs!

The only disadvantage is that, as with most teas, it can get bitter if the teabag is left in to brew for too long. That is the only downside in my view.

Summary: A lovely refreshing hot drink
