Advantages: Cheap to buy, full of flavour

Disadvantages: You have to let it brew for quite a while to get a rich tasting tea

I love nothing more drink wise than a good cup of tea. I consume ludicrous amounts of it per day! My favourite is Yorkshire tea without a doubt however that can work out pricey with the amount I drink of the stuff so often I look for cheaper alternatives.

I don't like really, really cheap teabags like 'Smart Price' from Asda and the likes as I find them too weak for my taste so often, I look for brands on offer and these Tetley One Cup ones are usually found in discount stores and I have been purchasing these from my local Poundland store now on a weekly basis for the past few weeks.

The Packaging:

The teabags come in a simple dark blue box to which two sides appear the same. There is a picture of a mug of tea on there and we are told that they are Tetley One Cup 'Just right for making tea in a cup' and that in my box there are 88 round teabags. Other information listed down one side of the box is simply contact details for Tata Global Beverages (the manufacturer of the product) and the weight is stated which is 176g. Like I say simple, attractive packaging this is.

The Teabags:

Well like it says on the packaging these are round teabags, large in shape, thin and white and made from a thin perforated tissue type material.

To use them is the same as you would any other kind of teabag, simply pop them straight into a cup or mug and allow it to 'brew' for as long as you want it to. Personally I leave the bag in a good few minutes as I like it strong.

This creates a dark brown tea with no scum or bits of the tea leaves within the drink at all. Made from a dark black leaf tea this is really nice, full of antioxidants and rich in flavour. As I have stated before I like a strong tea and although that takes a while to achieve as I have to let it brew for a while I do get that.

These are a great economy purchase, not cheap in flavour, easy to use and taste great and I can highly recommend them.
