Advantages: Tastes great, good quality teabag, easy to make, full of flavour

Disadvantages: The cost of the teabags is higher than others

There is nothing better than a good cup of tea! Wherever in the world I am and no matter what the time of day is I am always happy to have a cup of tea in my hand. I love waking up and getting a cup of tea before I even have to think of anything else and I am also not that fussy how my tea comes, I don't like too much milk in it but other than that that I take it as it comes. I tend to buy the teabags that are on offer in my local Supermarket, this tends to be a mixture of either PG Tips or Tetley tea bags and we always buy the bags as opposed to anything else, however I recently attended a Seminar for work and they had the Twinings Everyday Teabags and I really enjoyed the cup of tea that this brand made so I decided to grab a box the next time that I went shopping.

I have tried the Twinings fruit tea before but never the regular every day. I brought a box that contained 80 teabags and this cost me £2.89, there is a larger box that contains 240 teabags and this will cost around the £5.69 to £6.00 mark. The brand is far from cheap but the quality from the cup that I remember was excellent so I wanted to just have a try. I got mine in Tesco and noticed the Twinings fruit tea was on offer so I am guessing you need to keep your eyes peeled for the discounted prices. As well as getting these in most supermarkets you can also get them online at www.twinings.co.uk

The teabags come in a cardboard box and this is a vibrant yellow colour. The box features the Twinings name in gold writing as well as a picture of a cup of tea. There is also the number of bags included. On the reverse of the box is a little about the brand and that the bags are made from black tea from several origins, it even goes as far to tell you that the tea is a natural source of antitoxin and that help protect the body from damage from free radicals. With the science part out of the way I was keen to open the box and get myself a cuppa!

Each bag is a rectangular shape and there is a good strong feel to them, the smell of the tea instantly hits you and after boiling my kettle I was quick to make the tea! I knew that my tea should taste good as that was the entire reason for me having it but that could have been a one off, but I was not disappointed. The tea had such a smooth texture and a powerful and strong taste but at the same time it was really refreshing and quenched my thirst. The tea was as I remembered, there was just something about the quality and it was a really good after taste as well, there was no bitterness to the tea and it just was something that was slightly different about this tea that makes it stand out from the rest for me.

You need to keep the tea in an airtight container or at least leave them in the box so that they are kept cool and dry. Every bag makes a great cup of tea and I really have fallen in love with tea all over again, these really are a fantastic quality. The only thing that puts me off a little is the fact that there is a slightly higher price tag attached to this tea.

4 out of 5 from me

Thank you for reading

Summary: A fabulous tea!
