Advantages: Fresh zesty smell, source of antioxidants

Disadvantages: none

I am always on and off on the look out for a different cup of tea. I got a free sample of this tea, and have since bought a pack because I liked it. A box of 20 teabags costs £1.45 from the Twinings' Website, though it's slightly cheaper in the supermarkets. Asda currently have an offer for 2 boxes of 20 for £2.50, offering better value.

I don't drink this tea everyday, but as an occasional treat of something different. What spurred me on to purchase this tea was how it was green tea, with its antioxidants and calming properties, with a zesty twist. As soon as I poured hot water onto the teabag in the mug, the fresh smell of orange was clearly evident, adding something different to this tea, instantly. The aroma was the first thing that made this cuppa a great way to relax.

I found this tea tasted like most other green teas, slightly bitter, but the subtle hint of orange was detectable, and took something away from this bitterness.

I'm not quite sure what the lotus flower adds to the flavour, I only assume it adds a very delicate floral taste to the tea.

I like this green tea, and I would recommend it.
