Advantages: a range of teabags
Disadvantages: not enough of the favourite types
I am trying my hardest to give up milk, it's not always easy I love a proper cup of tea, however, I will persevere. So I have been mostly drinking fruit teas(soya milk doesn't do it for me).
I picked this box the other day at Sainsburys for £1.79 containing 20 mixed teabags
5 Peach & Passion Fruit
5 Grapefruit, Mandarin & Lime
5 Lemon Zest
5 Mango, Mandarin & Cinnamon
I am hooked!
I love the peach and passionfruit, when you first brew it the aroma of peach hits you and you actually believe it will taste of peach and it does with a mild hint of passionfruit, now I would have liked the passionfruit flavour to be stronger but it's a very pleasant drink.
The grapefruit, mandarin & lime and the Lemon zest ones are both very refreshing, would both make an ideal wake up cuppa, the one with lime has a bitter edge, but I think limes have a bitter edge anyway. These two teabags need brewing a little longer than the other two.
The mango, mandarin and cinnamon is both refreshing and warming, the slight taste of cinnamon compliments the mango perfectly. A definite favourite of mine.
Being both caffeine and calorie free these drinks are ideal for anyone watching their weight, wanting to give up milk or just wanting a change. My only real complaint would be that they are just not proper tea!
Summary: a reasonable substitute
