Advantages: Sweet, Smooth, Rich, Sweet and Refreshing

Disadvantages: Slightly papery aftertaste when unsweetened

I've recently been trying as much of Twining's range as I can, in order to find my favourites. This is one of the ones I will most certainly be buying again! A box comes with 20 bags, and should not cost much more than £1.20, which seems like very good value to me.

The bag has a sweet, candied smell and the presence of liquorice is obvious. When water is added though, the smell of raspberry comes to the fore, balanced by the flowery richness of the Echinacea. These flavours also come across strongly in the taste, which is smooth, slightly sharp, sweet, scented and rich. The aftertaste is slightly papery which is often a problem with fruit teas, but this seems to be easily solved by adding a tiny amount of sugar or honey. Without this though, it's sugar free as well as caffeine free, so it's certainly a healthy drink as well as a tasty one.

If you enjoy fruit teas, this is one with a pleasant twist, and is definitely one of my favourites.

Summary: One of my favourite flavours from Twinings.
