      Instant Tea Selection Box

Instant tea is something which has taken off in a big way over the course of the last few years, with Whittard's of Chelsea arguably being the company which produces the premium tasting variety of the easy to make drink. Whittard's 'Instant Tea Selection Pack' includes six of their best selling powered teas including; 'Dreamtime', 'English Fruits', 'Cranberry & Raspberry', 'Turkish Apple', 'Blackcurrant & Elderflower' and 'Piña Colada'.

      Easy Tea'sy

All of the teas are to be prepared in the same simple manner, and it's simply a case of mixing the contents of each sachet with 400ml of hot or cold water and stirring well. Actually, 400ml just about makes two cups worth - so you certainly get your money's worth, considering the fact that there are more than one sachet of each tea per flavour in the box.

The flavours in the selection pack vary between delicious and, well, pretty horrible, as in the case of the 'Dreamtime' variety (but that's just my opinion - i'm sure it's very popular in some circles). My favourite has to be the 'Turkish Apple' one, which is very tangy, and ultimately a lot more flavoursome than any tea which I have ever brewed in tea bag form.

With all of the individual teas in the selection pack, following the recommended brewing instructions can result in a taste which is a little too sweet, and even sickly in some cases. Of course, this can be rectified by adding more hot water, and it's definitely a case of diluting to taste.

You can drink any of Wittard's instant teas hot or cold, and opting for them in chilled form makes for a refreshing summery drink on a hot day - as long as it's not the Dreamtime one - which, as I previously mentioned, is just disgusting!

It's always nice to see a product with a limited list of ingredients, and this is certainly the case with the teas here - they simply contain; Sugar, Citric Acid, Black Tea Extract, and Natural Flavouring.

Whittard's Instant Tea selection pack comprises a group of (mostly) very flavorsome and delicious teas which would make a nice gift for someone. At £9, I feel that the pack actually represents good value for money considering the fact that there are four of each tea in the box - recommended.
