Advantages: They give you some free time
Disadvantages: Everything else about their service
AOL is a joke - they have been a byword for idiots and lamers ever since they allowed their users on the internet. The service is lousy, the software is a joke and the average user is a skript-kiddie desperately trying to prove how hard he is by crashing other peoples computers.
It`s not a very good sign is it really, when they have to offer 15 free hours in a month to convince people to even give them a try? How about when you want to get rid of AOL after you discover how bad it is? Did you realise that to do this you`ll probably have to reinstall everything on your computer, regardless of what AOL themselves say?
Did you realise that AOL is in the process of being sued by their users in America for destroying any settings related to other IS`s accounts?
I hope that telling you this little bit will help you realise that AOL is not for you. If you need mroe proof just ask anyone on the internet with half a brain - they`ll confirm this opinion of AOL.
