Waste of traffic (AOL)

Advantages: decent connection

Disadvantages: everything else; mainly customer support

was with aol for about 1 year everything was going good untill i had a problem with the service, netgear took me through tests also done tests off net and tried on friends comp aol were persistent in saying that the problem was with the modem not with the line. was told that because my router was not supported by them i would have to by new router before they would even give any technical help. The only thing i could say wasgood about aol is that they gave me my mac code quickly. customer service is appalling one of the worst i have ever encountered if you do go with aol and need tech support(you will i promise) then be prepared for a very very long fone call. Totaly useless company and would never use them again like i have read if i could give no stars i would
