well where do i start with aol hmm well around 15 months ago i applied for aol got my modem my username password and was ready to go live. it didnt work!! suprise suprise after many months of dealing with technical support (who by the way proberbly dont know the meaning of the word!) i finally went live but i still encountered many problems, i dicided enough was enough and cancelled aol. since then i moved house and went with virgin media who i have had no problems with. about 4 months ago i had a phone from my bank asking why had aol been debiting my switch card, i had no idea. infuriated i called up aol asking what they were playing at it turned out that when i payed for my installation or something by debit card they had kept my card details so when i had canceled my direct debit they continued to charge me 11 months of subsription and charged my card! I was furious i immediatley asked them to return the money this was october 08 i was promised £124 to be returned by 30 days. well 30 days passed alas they had not returned my money and didnt help at at they just said "sorry theres been a error another 30 days". by this point i dont know how i manged to but i accepted as i had no choice really. 30 days passed again, then another 30 days still no money and today 2nd february 2009 guess what still no money! the customer service advisors are as useless as a chocolate teapot, and dont get me started an the so called managers, i had one today who called 3 other senior managers liars as i asked him why the infomation he had gave me was differeent he simply replyed "they must all be liars" come on it must be bad when you call the collegues you work with liars just to make your self look good. so aol to sum up many words i have in my head here a just a few "useless" "pointless" "liars"
