I left AOL a few months ago and I joined BT Internet. AOL had a £9.99 a month offer and you can surf any time and it will always cost 1p a minute. Then I heard about BT's offer where you pay £9.99 a month and you can surf for free after 6pm on weekdays and surf for free during the whole weekend, whilst the other times, it will cost 2p per minute. I thought this was a much better offer so I signed up and left AOL in July.

When I got my Mastercard bill, I saw the BT Internet bill of £9.99, which was right. Then I looked down the bill and saw that I was also being charged for AOL, even though I left them!

I called up AOL and they said they cancelled my subscription so I wouldn't get any more bills from them.

Guess what? The nexy bill I got had another AOL £9.99 a month bill on it. I got another one last week after calling them for the second time, and I am still being charged! That's £40 I've paid for absoloutely nothing!

So unless you are not ever going to leave AOL, do not sign up with them because you'll probably get constantly charged like me.
