Advantages: User friendly, and suitably laid out.
Disadvantages: slow connection
I have been a user of Aol since January 2001 and always seem to have problems getting connected. Basically I haven't had a very good experience with them so far. When I try to connect I put in my password etc, and can walk away leaving my computer as I know the connection isn't going to be made first/second or even third time, I get throughly dissapointed when I return I cancel down and give up.
Once I am connected you see a various amount of features for example, you have the separare catagories for chat, email or shopping etc, and on the left hand side you get the services that aol offer.
On a brighter note, the one good thing with AOL is their ability of Help which is brilliant,& accurate, you press Aol help, and a written message appears asking for breif details of your requirements, you type in these and an operator is there within a few seconds to guide you step by step.
The other bad thing with AOL is whilst on-line a question keeps comming up on the screen asking "if I still want to be connected". I do like Aol, but due to these points mentioned I feel quite dissapointed with their service.
