AOL Broadband

There are just so many problems I had with Aol in the years I was a member with them. The worst part about them was they would not even give me my Mac code or even stop taking money out of my account when I wanted to leave them! Their call centre staff are some of the most meanest people you can ever speak to! They do not care care at all how they speak to you! 17.99 is their cheapest price and they do not even offer cashback through sites either! I'm not sure i can put into words quite how unpleasant my experience with AOL has been! We had many long periods for which our home internet didn't work which is extremely annoying, there is never a reasin given for it or a time as to when you'll be abel to reconnect. The internet disconnected regularly and we had no ends of problems. The only thing that makes them deserve one star is the fact that all the equipment they sent us worked. You must be crazy to even think of getting out a internet connection with Aol. If you are even planning on doing that I would say stop for a few reasons as Aol are one of the worst companies out there to have a internet connection with! Service The service from Aol is awful each time you call up for help you hardly get it. They have a call centre team abroad in India who are not very helpful at all when it comes to helping out on the phone. Some years back I took out my first broadband contract and I did so with AOL, the reason I used AOL was simply that I had heard of them a lot and assumed they must be good but the fact is I was wrong. My time using AOL was a mixed bag really, for the first few months I was happy but then I had never had broadband before so I knew no better. AOL provide very high quality broad band but they are expensive and the set up can take a long time. When I was trying to get my modem connected I kept being passed between BT and AOL with nobody willing to take any responsibility. Once the service was set up AOL support was quite good online, but contacting them by phone took forever and they didn't seem to be able to get specific details about my account with them.
