Thoroughly disappointing experience (AOL Broadband)

Advantages: good equipment

Disadvantages: could never connect and unrealiable when you could!

I'm not sure i can put into words quite how unpleasant my experience with AOL has been! We had many long periods for which our home internet didn't work which is extremely annoying, there is never a reasin given for it or a time as to when you'll be abel to reconnect. The internet disconnected regularly and we had no ends of problems. The only thing that makes them deserve one star is the fact that all the equipment they sent us worked. The worst thing was when we tried to leave they didn't send us our code to change over and kept hassling us to stay and then kept taking money out of our account for a long time after we'd left them. I'd never consider going back and i certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone, we've changed to another provider and we're much happier now! I wouldn't bother doing business with them and their prices aren't even good anyway.

Summary: I wouldn't use them again!
