Although the problem was eventually cured, it did take a while However the KILLER product from Atlantic is the unlimited calls deal. For around £38 a month you get unmetered calls to all numbers bar premium rate, international and mobiles. I currently pay £50 a month and I get a 2mb/sec (!) internet connection into the bargain !!!! Although it is on trial in Glasgow at the moment, they are looking to roll it out to other major cities (Newcastle and Aberdeen are first i think) in the near future... more |

I have been a customer for over two years now, and I find myself a sincere fan of Atlantic - but with some reservations. They are definately cheaper than BT and, much, much nicer to deal with to boot. However, when things do go wrong (for instance noise on the line) they just don't seem to be as well geared up as BT to fix the problems. I have been a customer now for about three years and have nothing but praise for their service. Everything they say in their adverts they deliver, two lines for less than one BT, keep your old number, all calls in the UK are local and with their advance purchase scheme they are all charged at the same price regardless of time of day. All the gadgety stuff like alarm calls call waiting/forwarding, voicemail is included. For the very talkative £35 a month allows unlimited talktime to anywhere in the UK including ISP access Drawbacks you have to live in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and shortly Newcastle.
