BigBlueSky vs. Bt Internet (bigbluesky.uk.net)
Member Name: Landmark
Advantages: cheap, easy to use Disadvantages: busy, lot of errors
I have now been using Big Blue Sky around a month now and prior to that i was on BT. The main advantage of BBS compared to BT is that it costs £25 for free access unlimited whereas BT will charge £14.99 a month and every 2 hours you get cut off. However about 25% of the time trying to connect to BBS is a nightmare, I do know that last week they were having new ports installed which also caused chaos. As stated before there is no maxium time you can stay online for I have stayed connected for in excess of 7 hours. Again back to their faults when you do get on sometimes there is just no response from any of the programmes in your PC and you have to restart the computer to get any sense out of it. I have been informed from them that theye are in their early stages and there will be many other features coming from them once they have got the basic systems fully functional. despite all their little start-up problems I would recommend them above BT any day simply for cost effectiveness.
