Advantages: None

Disadvantages: Crashes, loses your mail, hard to access, small attachments only

When I got my Blueyonder internet package, I decided to use the email account they gave me. I now regret it for 3 reasons:

1) It's hard to find. If you're on the main blueyonder site, it's at least 3 clicks before you get to the login page. At home it's on my favourites list, but if I'm at work checking home email, it's always a fiddly job to get there. If I type the page address in direct it often comes up 'unfound'.
2) Attachments are small. You can only attach 20mb to an email, which is ridiculous. If I ever want to attach a couple of high res pics to an email I end up logging onto my wife's hotmail account which has more availability.
3) My email account has crashed 3 times in the 3 years I've had it. What do I mean? I've currently had NO emails to that account for over 1 month! People have said there emails have been returned to them. I thought my inbox might be full, so I deleted everything in there (including the rubbish bin) but it still isn't working. When this has happened in the past, there's no explanation, it just starts working again after a while.

Considering this is an email account I am paying for, it's terrible. Hotmail is better in so many ways, but I have all of my accounts linked to the Blueyonder site, so I have to put up with it.

Summary: Use hotmail for email!

I use blueyonder and have had no problems with it infact I dropped Telewest for two years and went back and continued with the same email address and subscriptions to other email alerts are still coming through... Get in touch with tech support and give them a blast... Good luck
