Advantages: Free Answerphone and caller display service

Disadvantages: Customer service is poor and install charges are high

BT in my opinion are ok as long as you don't have a problem or want anything doing. When I recently move house and wanted to get my line connected and an extra socket installed it took me literally hours on the phone, mostly on hold or getting past between departments to get it sorted out. It seems there were so many different parts to BT that is very confusing who you actually need to speak to. After I finally got someone to come out they were quite professional and knowledgeable and got the work done without any hassle. Also their charges are very high and seem impropriate to the work that they do. I don't have calls through them I just have their line rental and pay the £13 odd for this! On the plus points their caller display and 1571 answer phone service are very useful and are free if you make a few chargeable calls in one month.

Summary: Ok as long as you dont get a problem!
