BT - Go with Talk Talk (346 words)

BT are the worst company ever, I had endless problems with them, they didnt turn up to install my line until about the third attempt, they cancelled my line about 3 times which interupted and in turn cancelled my broadband which at the time was with Virgin who are the second worst company to deal with, but are apparently trying to improve their ...  Read the complete review

BT just annoys me soooooooooooooooooooo much!!! :-@ What winds me up the most is it has the monopoly. Yes, there are new systems like Virgin where you don't need a telephone line from BT...but there are still alot of places where you can't get this, I live in the middle of town, but because I'm on the top floor of a 3 story building, we can't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BT: b.t need to sort their customer services out... (255 words)

I always used to think b.t were a very good service provider but lately i have changed my mind... Firstly if we ever have a problem with our service we are forced to speak to foreigners who we cannot understand and they read off of a script so if you say something they don't understand well you are a bit stumped really... ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BT's vision (203 words)
by - written on 20/12/08 (Useful, 35 readings)
Rating:

I have BT broadband and am quite satisfied with the service. On the rare occasion that my connection has had problems I have been able to get help by phone and qualified personnel have guided me step by step to fix the problem. BT vision on the other hand is a different kettle of fish. After signing up for that (on the phone) and having ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on BT
by Alexa - written on 11/12/08
Rating:

Since moving home in August, i have had nothing but trouble with BT. It took them 2 and a half months to reconnect my phone line at my new address, I rang them a total of 15 times and was told each time it would be connected on this date, which never happened. In the end they cancelled my old line and started a new one then had the cheek to send me a £77 bill for cancelling my old line- even though this was their call and I hadn't asked to have it cancelled. I then received 4 letters threatening debt enforcement, calling them everytime and everytime being reassured the money would not be taken from me, every time receieving another letter. it wasn't until the 5th time i e-mailed a complaint it was sorted for me and I was sent a final bill of -£9.

Premium Review Hard to believe bt (233 words)

I've been with BT for nearly 3 years now. At first they were alright, they seemed to be reasonable, because I never used the phone. There was never any main issues. Until my bills started to creep up more and more. The main trouble is the VAT and line rentals. its mad. We thought we may save money by combining our internet with our phone line we'd ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BT: Bloody Terrible (493 words)
by - written on 05/12/08 (Very useful, 54 readings)
Rating:

BT. What can I sat about BT? Lots, but none it's positive. I have been with BT for about 11 months. The told me at the start of my contract that they could spread the cost of installing a line, which costs £124, and I would get it half price. Wow I thought. Did it happen, of course it didn't. It took about 2 months to get ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review WHY WHY WHY? (1644 words)
by - written on 19/11/08 (Very useful, 137 readings)
Rating:

BT have been my telephone provider since I got my own house and got a phoneline in. Unfortuately in my area there is only BT that provide a line rental service, so they kind of have the monopoly as in other areas they have cable telephone that can provide the same service at often a cheaper rate. I have now moved to another town and although I can ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BT: About time they were shown the door for good. (368 words)
by - written on 28/10/08 (Very useful, 106 readings)
Rating:

It's very hard to say anything critical or discouraging about this company that hasn't been said 1000 times already. What amazes me is that such an appalling organisation somehow manages to survive year after year. If I didn't need them for the internet, they'd have long been history. Their service is indescribably bad - but not as bad as their ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Busby will be turning in his grave (1166 words)
by - written on 24/10/08 (Very useful, 186 readings)
Rating:

For years and years I was a very happy BT customer (and many of my family still are I might add). I found them to be a trustworthy company (I used to love Busby...am I that old?) who did what they said they would do and I had no complaints. Then we bought our first house and we wanted cable television - something which BT couldn't provide. So ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Should Be NBT ( Nowhere Near British Telecom ) (720 words)

What a company. Always advertising and trying to get you to "come back" with the promise that things are better. What a crock. You go back and nothing has changed, you spend 99% of your time trying to explain to their foreign staff that their produts are not working. When you finally get your point across they divert you to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review British (Not) TeleNONcommunications (454 words)

British Telecommunications - The company name is now a contradiction in terms. They are not particularly British, each time I call them I speak to poor sod in New Delhi or Bombay or some other distant place and they have no clue as to where in the UK I am from and have no idea what the hell they can do to help me! Communications - I ...  Read the complete review

I have been a loyal customer to BT for many years and never really had any problems with them. Boy oh boy did this all change when I decided to leave them! Since flying the nest, I have been a BT customer - until they made 1 mistake too far and enough was enough. In June 2006 we were having a new IKEA kitchen installed and one of their recommended contractors cut off our phone line as a result of ignoring instructions he had been clearly given (but don't get me started on IKEA's kitchen installation service - that's a whole other story in itself!!). Anyway, the bloke agreed to pay for a BT engineer to ...  Read the complete review

BT: BY: BRITISH TRAGEDY (297 words)
by mar - written on 04/09/08

The worst costumer service I ever experienced. They lie to the costumer, there are hidden charges they do not specify. I had overcharges several times, every time I called to complain they said they were going to deduct the overcharges in the next bill, this happened more than 7 times (with the landline and broadband services) and they never ...  Read the complete review

The biggest example of a company gone mad. We have had no luck with BT at all. No amount of calls, letters, emails or otherwise could resolve the issue until I ...  Read the complete review

BT: Good and Bad (155 words)

I've had many problems with BT over the years. The latest is a letter from the Debt Recovery Unit after BT charged me for cancelling my account. I had actually just moved address (staying with BT) and had gone through the correct process. They agreed to waive the charge in May but sent the letter re the debt in June. I just hope it doesn't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BT (bloody terrible) (327 words)
by - written on 30/06/08 (Very useful, 80 readings)
Rating:

As big a company as British telecom (BT) is I honestly feel it has nothing left to offer, I am no longer with them but had unbelievable problems when I was. It all started from one late payment and when I say late I don't mean weeks I mean three days and because of a holiday. I received a reminder (ok that's no problem) so I phoned to pay my bill ...  Read the complete review
