BT is dominant telecommunication provider in the UK. It provides phone lines and phone service, broadband and Television in the form of BT Vision. I recently become a member of BT. I am hugely impressed with the customer services of this company. Migrating over from another company took a while. BT provides ... Read the complete review

After moving home, I requested a line activation for my new property on 5th june and was given a date which keeps getting moved back and fore. To date still have no working phone. On calling them every 2 days in line with the dates that had come and gone was told to stop bothering them and was them given a different date again. MY RECOMMENDATION to anyone considering joining BT is to think again and call Virgin or anyone else. BT are unfortunately shameful and really don't care that they are incompetent in every way. If you value your phone and need it working within a month I would recommend giving BT a miss altogether. Your custom is not valued and their customer service team chop and change their minds on dates like I change my clothes.

Having been a customer with BT for THIRTY YEARS with the phone services. I decided to bring a web site to Bt and take up the internet service with what I thought should have been a first rate supplier. Who should be leading the example of first rate care. With regret I can confirm that due to third rate customer care from India Call Centre ... Read the complete review

I signed up for BT phone service before moving into my first house last year. They called back to confirm while I was out, and my mum answered. They offered a call package and my mum, wanting to be helpful, agreed to it. So far, not their fault and not a disaster. I can always call to change it after all - I'm still covered by the ... BT.......... Where to start £71.00/mth for a service which costs £30.00/mth elsewhere. Advance billing they do not mention, i.e. less than three weeks in I had a bill from BT for £102.96 for broadband alone, when I was expecting the expensive £35/mth. They can't tell your accounts apart and they cannot put them ... Read the complete review

right, here goes.. at the risk of sounding like a member of the bt fan club, just like to say what a fantastic service Ive recieved from bt. On the down side, it is frustrating trying to contact customer services, and the whole press 1, press 2 ect ect. That said, I recieved the home hub and vision box, and withing 30 minutes it was all up and running perfectly. Finding the broadband speed acceptable and the vision box is, al be it in a less than attractive casing, is excellent - has changed the way Im now watching tv. Prices wise, its competetive. Overall, been very impressed with the new service Im getting from bt, including the equiptment they have provided for me - geat

Although recently my internet has been fine I have had my fair few share of problems from BT and when I phone to get assisstance they are less than helpful. In late January I received a telephone message from BT saying that they had had a request to take over the phone line to my property to confirm if this was true. I called customer services to tell tem that I was still resident at the property and that I knew nothing of this request as I am the sole occupant at my property. Having been in a queue ... WARNING: This article contains some bad language. ~~Introduction~~ BT are unavoidable. They're a bit like an STD, it can be a pain in the rectum and sometimes you just can't get rid of it. I've worked in a BT call centre. I hated it. I've worked in a BT sorting office. I hated them even more. I've had a rip-off BT phone line, ... Read the complete review

If there was another way to avoid having to deal with BT, I would have chosen it by now. The service I have recieved from BT has been horrendous. I've been trying for 6 months to get my line sorted and I'm still battling with them now over my correct address as it was a new built property. I've spent hours on the phone to them, being passed from one unhelpful person to another. I've been told endless incorrect details which then take another long phone call to sort. I can't believe that a company of this size operates in this way.

It all started in September 2007. I tried to switch to BT to get a better deal with my internet connection as I was paying over the odds for a 2mg connection that kept cutting out. Ok im very skeptical when it comes to reading people's reviews. Coz ppl base them on opinions and not on facts. Ill refrain from that. FACT NUMBER 1: BT service works. Its supposed to, i guess! FACT NUMBER 2: When u want to open a new account or get a new line, the customer service just cant be any better FACT ... Read the complete review

I have just spent the past 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone to BT. For anyone who has recently read my review of NTL they will realise I am slightly miffed at their inability to send me one cheque.
