Living at home I don't have to pay for my internet but I'm getting very frustrated with BT Surftime. I find it never connects first time. Sometimes you have to wait for three or more times during the free hours between 6PM and 8AM for a connection. Once connected i never get more than 32300 but i normally get 28800kbps. The dwonloading speeds are ... Read the complete review

BT internet has been my isp for about 8 months, for the first 6 month's i subscribed to surftime evenings and weekends. The website itself is quite boring and i tend not to spend very much time there. The service itself is pretty good i've not had any connection problems at all, though the connection speed can be very slow at times.I ... Read the complete review

BT really do puzzle and infuriate me. They have been reminding me for ages now that I should change to the Anytime package, the last letter arriving on 29 March and an e-mail on the same day both telling me to get on with it. So, of course, I did go to sign up and completed everything, but then was told 'Ooops! You are not eligible for this ... Read the complete review

I have been a user of BTInternet's ISP for nearly a year now, that equates to nearly £119.88 that I have paid the nice people at BT. Now the issue I have is the fact that everytime I try to connect in their supposedly free time period I can never get access! I would have let them off a couple of times, as even I can appreciate that ... Read the complete review

BT's new scheme where you pay £14.99 for a 24/7 Internet access has been very popular. However, AOL also offers a similar service! But there is a difference, not in price but offer the 24/7 for the same price but in service. AOL has this annoying habit of disconnecting - mid conversation or mid surfing. And trying to reconnect is ... Read the complete review

I have been with BT internet for almost a year now. My package included free evening and weekends for a price of £9.99 a month. This was not bad as it meant unlimited internet access from 6 pm in the evenings and all weekend. You also get your own email addresses, web space. You have a choice of having about 5 email addresses. I only use ... Read the complete review

A strange thing has happened to my connection, after almost 7 weeks of turmoil, disconnection problems and very slow speeds, it's now hit a new high today. I connected 6 times today, all of which were above 40k, that's the first time ever with BTI Anytime, my highest connection prior to today, was 41.7k, today it hit 47.6k connection ... About six months ago I signed up to BT Internet for £9.99 per month, which meant free phone calls at evenings and weekends. The service was pretty good -- connections seemed stable and reliable compared to other ISPs I had tried, and the speed was adequate. There was the annoying 2-hour cut-off, but apart from that, the service seemed to be the ... Read the complete review

Yeah - are you really going to believe that? I started off my internet life by having both AOL and btinternet. Of the two, and as a beginner,I preferred the ease of using AOL. After about a year, I thought how daft I was paying for two ISPs and got rid of AOL. By that time, it was TOO simple and I preferred BTi. Well, I won't tell you all the ... Read the complete review

As a customer of NationwideISP for the past 18 months, I was rather upset to find out that my beloved ISP was closing and we were being encouraged to join BT (who if I'm right we behind the Nationwide project in the first place) As a little bribe we were offered 3 free CDs...ooooh how exciting! Now, a month into my BT membership ... Read the complete review

Having been a BT user for around two years with the free at weekends and evenings package for £9.99 a month(it also includes other perks and offers to do with the telephone connection), I would have to say that I have not been impressed by the service. South Bank "South Bank" is situated, on the south bank of the river Thames in London. The main skateboarding area is a disused car park. It is a great place to skate and has been the home of British Skateboarding for many years. It is comprised of a large bowl with handrails at the top and a flight of stairs; a big long ramp ... I've been with BTinternet for several months now, taking advantage of their £9.99 per month for free off-peak and weekend access. I've found their service reliable, fast (I connect at 64k over ISDN), and cheap. I never surf from home during peak hours, so access to 0800 whenever I'm home for just a tenner is a good deal for me - and it ... Read the complete review

Un-metered access finally arrives, in the form of a reasonably priced package for evening and weekends (surf together £14.99 inc line rental) and the rather overpriced 14.99 on top of line rental for anytime. Back in December a second line was installed by BT to my house for use of the internet. BT Internet have been offering their free Internet calls service for about a year now, and I have been using it for most of that time. Recently, they have changed the price and terms and conditions. I have been using Btinternet for about a year at the cost of £9.99 per month debited to my credit card as I am not a BT customer. I would rate this service with 3 / 4 stars – it’s pretty reliable, reasonably fast but the disconnections can be very irritating & do not seem to conform to any pattern. Can happen after a few seconds, ... Read the complete review
