I registered for BTopenworld in May 2000. This gave me an entitlement to free installation. Since then I've received two e-mails, neither of which conveyed much information. Despite my e-mailing them on a number of occasions they do not even seem to be prepared to give me a rough estimate when it can be installed.

I am currently using Home Highway, BT ISDN, and I suspect that although they state they have a problem in converting digital lines, the real reason is that they get more revenue through users of HomeHighway than they would if they connected them to Openworld.

I can't wait for cable internet to arrive in my area so that I can wave goodbye to BT not only for their internet connection but also for their phone line.
