I am a member of BT internet and have been for quite a while now even though they have changed the packages somewhat. Btopenworld.com provides you with everything you may want to know about BT it makes a very good homepage and for anyone who wants to know anything about BT then this is the site.
They have changed the homepage to make it easier and faster and looks good although there is quite a lot of text on the main page so you don’t really know where to start.

Existing BT internet customers can check or even change the package and if you need any technical help there is online assistant. Edit your details, password or check your status. You can access genie mobile from this site and use the free SMS service available.

They also have a search engine on the homepage which is quite good but not the best. The results aren’t the best and results can be very slow. One of the things which could have been better would have been a better search engine. Considering the fact that it’s one of the main things on the homepage it is quite disappointing.

I like the communications area with messenger, voice mail, email alert, and speech mail there’s a good range of things. The messenger may be handy considering the fact MSN and Yahoo may charge $10 for the use of their messengers-(it’s only rumours yet though). The tool section is very good with a range of things which may use like building a web page, your own links, and even digital photo processing and there’s a calendar which will remind you of important dates.

You can still read the Top stories whether news, sport, entertainment or weather. It used to be one of the main features on the old site and a section which I used to visit a lot so scroll down the page so you don’t miss it.

Overall the homepage is very good will take time to get used to it but the changes are far the better although I don’t like the search engine don
