EurobellNewest Review: ... make outgoing calls. I looked through my post and found a letter from Eurobell dated the 5th saying that if we didn't pay our bill by the 12th then they would cut us off!!! How long does it take for a first class letter to get to us. The post mark was indecipherable so we are unsure as to wether they posted it late or if it was royal mails fault! When my partner and I moved into our little flat we decided that we ought to get a land line as no-one could reach us in an emergency. As we live in Crawley we decided to opt for Eurobell as we got free local calls and all his family were already on Eurobell including his girls. We signed up expecting good service, which is only natural. It originally cost us £7 a month for line rental (that was in Sept 98). When Eurobell came to Plymouth I thought great, free calls to all my friends and family who are Eurobell customers and a greater choice of tv channels via their cable packages. We signed up with Eurobell just over 2 years ago and apart from it taking weeks to actually put in the phone line we had no problems and no need to call customer services. We left it a few months and then decided to have their 40 channel cable packaged priced at £12.99 per month, which you would at that price and all those channels. Perhaps I'm impatient, but waiting 6 weeks to have another line installed to me seem ridiculous, but in the world of telecommunications perhaps that's the norm... I purchased my company last month, on the understanding that the previous owner was taking out the old telephone system (with Taurus and Eurobell) and Eurobell were to install our new one.
