F2S are a company which are primarily a (quite good) ISP, which offer excellent webspace, and the good thing is that you don't sign-up to use their ISP services, you sign up to become a member of F2S generally. You can then use their ISP service if you wish (£10 extra), but there is no need to do this, you can just take advantage of ad-free space.

This is possibly one of THE best web-space sites out there, and you don't have to pay a penny. I have been using it for months, and have no trouble with it at all.

Unlike MANY other places such as Geocities, xoom, tripod etc, there are NO banners on this web-space at all, which is a very big plus, because banners can get annoying becasue they take up space, which you would like to use (especially if you use frames for your site).

This, coupled with the fact that you can have mysql (for databases), FrontPage extensions and cgi, which a professional user needs for websites, then you know you are onto a winner with this one.

The only slight drawback is that it is an experimental server at the moment, so there may be some down-time in their servers, but this is so little, that I have never noticed any.
