Advantages: Cheap, had no problems with the hosting persay.

Disadvantages: Not enough space to write it all.

11 at night and i'm number 15 in the queue... Hmmm.... I think Fasthosts might be a bit poo.

We lost our computer due to recieving a virus and so, lost all our login details for our website and fasthost account. In the meantime our credit card was cloned and stopped by the bank.

By the time we managed to retrieve our login details from fasthosts, we had missed payment for our hosting. Our website was taken down and we had no access to our emails and were losing sales by the minute. When eventually we could get into our account, the site wouldn't allow us to change our credit card details - even though it had been stopped by the bank and not us!!! They have frozen our account and won't do a thing except complain that we haven't paid them.

The crazy thing is, we're begging to give them our money, i have debit and credit cards heaped up around me just waiting to pour money into fasthosts bank accounts,but no... Fasthosts can't take card details over the phone, they don't do BACs, they don't do cheques or cash! Hell of a business, wish i could figure out how to be rich by refusing to take money!

After already having queued for four hours over four phone calls today, just to speak to them (Sorry sir, we don't have a direct line, you have to come back through the queing system - i bet their Mothers don't have to queue when they phone!) I am still on the phone to them now, at the time of writing guess where i am in the queue? Yup, you guessed it, number 15...

I mean, come on guys, do you think we don't know you're sitting having a cuppa and watching newsnight?
