FASTHOSTS ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!
DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!

After their "secure" server got hacked and all our passwords and possibly credit card details were stolen they forced the password change - very inconvenient but understandably necessary. Sadly the password they sent me didn't work and i was locked out of my account including all my email in the weeks running up to xmas - so i spent the next two weeks phoning (you are number 53 in line...you are 47 inline...etc etc.) and after many many emails they finally called me to tell me that i didnt have authorization to access this account and that my account number didnt even exist any more and had been merged with another company.

So lets look at the facts here - The account that i had been paying with MY credit card for 4 years and the account that they had been sending ME mail about to MY address and sending ME emails about to MY email address was no longer my account and now belongs to someone else????? Many phone calls and emails later and the matter is still unresolved, they refuse to help me in any way because they say that i dont have the authority to do anything about it. It has also come to light that this other company now have access to all my email and also my credit card details. I have cancelled all payments to Fasthosts and am taking legal advice.

This company needs to be taken down for the good of us innocent web users. I'm now looking for Fasthosts merchandise - voodoo dolls and punch bags anybody?? :-D
