A simple statement, DO NOT USE FASTHOSTS

Fair enough, at the end of the day we have all come to expect poor customer service, hidden costs, long call queue systems and unhelpful staff, but I say vote with your feet and go elsewhere.

I set up an account, easy and helpful at that point, tried to transfer a domain, nope Fasthosts work different to other hosting companies and both Lycos and Fasthosts refused to speak over the transfer. Fasthosts then became really unhelpful and the support started to contradict itself.

So far I have spent 6 days, 21 emails and 4 solid hours trying to do a simple task of moving a domain name and the response that comes back is a simple one, if you are not happy use another registrar, well thanks I think I will.

Lycos are rubbish but at the same time Fasthosts are just as bad with a constant call queue place of 13 whenever you call the "0870" number.

Welcome to rip-off britain, but good bye to Fasthost.
