They have absolutely no support whatsoever, and are ridiculously expensive, especially considering how cheap and good US hosting services are. I was charge £20 + VAT for having my credit card stolen and not updating my payment details within 7 days. This charge is unfair and believe me many people who come to renew their yearly hosting will fall victim to this unfair charge, if their payment details are not up to date. Remember a lot changes in a year.

In a nutshell my experience with Fasthosts (and also their Domain Name selling company "UKREG") has been ABYSMAL.

I used them originally for web hosting at £50 a month, but cancelled after 2 years of problems and being treated like total cr*p.

These days I only use them for domains; Nothing has improved as today they stole money from my credit card. Their response to my request for a refund was go fly...

As above, extra charges for ASP.NET etc etc, benefit is that it's all windows based, and linux is extra, which is unusual. You can gain read access to the C: drive of the windows servers via perl, which I am no expert but to me this seems wrong and a security issue, fasthosts don't seem bothered.
