I`ve used freenetname for a few years now and they are very good, I only use them to get hold of a free domain name, not as a service as such.

If you are wanting a free domain then this is a good site to get one from, you have to sign-up for the service first and then recieve their 0845 number then after waiting about 20mins you use the 0845 number to dial into their server and go and choose a domain name.

After choosing your domain name you then have to wait 24 hours for it to go through out the internet. After your wait you may then upload to your new domain address but on the 0845 number which can be expensive.

One way to get around this is to place a frame on this address with a new direction to another isp that is free to upload to, by doing this you won`t need to upload using their 0845 number again unless you need to make any changes to the framed index on the domain index.

The down side to freenetname is not only the 0845 number but you can`t get a .com address.
