Advantages: Flexible, Cheap, Fast enough connection

Disadvantages: Can be hard to connect at busy periods on the cheaper tariffs, basic tariff doesn't include an email address or web space

Free 24-7 have just changed their service. It used to be that they just offered one package (£7.99 for unlimited access) but they were having access problems, now and then, mentioned in other opinions. Their solution has been to offer a range of packages with different amounts of access time and also different user:modem ratios. This seems to have done the trick!

I've been using the cheapest package at £7.99 and found that I never go over the time limit for this package (if you do they simply stop your access for that week, not charge you more). The only problem I find on this package is that at times it does seem to get really busy, so I've moved up to the £9.99 package and it suits me just fine, no connection problems, no nasty phone bill.

A great feature is that they have no minnimum contract so you can join for 1 month only if you like, and they allow you to change your package once a month, just at the click of a button. So you can give the £7.99 package a try, and if this doesn't suit you, move up.

When all the other providers are charging about £14.99 for the same sort of access, and often slower, this seems like one of those best kept secrets, I can't believe more people don't know about it.
