freedom2surf.netNewest Review: ... My first reason for choosing this particular supplier was, I admit, price. I could not find any other ISP who could supply anywhere near the spec for a miserly £22.50 a month. At the time I was using Freeserve 24/7 and considered the extra £8.50 or so to be a reasonable amount for the extra speed. My connection in fact is the lowest speed ADSL at 512k - other faster packages are available but obviously more costly and aimed at the real enthusiast or business user. I would always advise having a good look at what else is on offer out there - but please check carefully what you are getting for your money; more than one company is offering ?b... more |

I have now had an ADSL (Broadband) connection courtesy of Freedom2surf for a couple of weeks and I can say, in all honesty, that it has been a real eye-opener! For those of you out there who are still wondering if it?s worth the extra money, all I can say is give it a go: gone are the seemingly endless hours waiting for web pages to download; newsgroup messages and e-mails come in far quicker than you can read them; downloads (especially good-sized programs) arrive in the time it takes to make a cuppa instead of by next morning. So much for Broadband in general - but why f2s? My first reason for choosing this particular supplier was, I admit, price. I could ... Read the complete review

here is a quick review of freedom2surf which i would recommend, and as far as i know, works out the cheapest at £270 all in for the first year (obviously paid monthly). - no connection fee, one month contract. so far the activation process was very smooth, and i have had no problem at all. from signing up, it took 6 days for me to be activated, and up and running using the service. listening to others, they have very little downtime compared to some of the 'bigger' isp's such as pipex and plusnet. if you check on the adslguide.org.uk customers of freedom2surf are rating them as one of the top isp's, yet they are the cheapest ... FREEDOM2SURF ? 512k ?PURE? IP HOME CONNECTION Most of you out here know the pain of dial-up internet connections. I, for one, had to suffer it for far too long a time. Not only that, but with Freeserve. Two hour disconnections, random disconnections at any time of the day (no matter how long I had been connected for) and worst of all the painfully slow speeds for both surfing and downloading. Imagine my delight my phone exchange was enabled for broadband. I was literally jumping for joy. No more slow speeds, no more 2 hour cut offs. No more Freeserve. However, it was not that easy, most of the "big" broadband ISP's charge A LOT of money, ... Read the complete review

Well, Freedom2Surf. One of my friends told me about this, and I joined mostly because of the website features. I have dackman.co.uk redirected to a f2s server just because of what they have to offer. Firstly, one of the great services is that you can have front page exstentions. Very useful if you want to make a website look effective easily. So I use this feature, as you can have Hit Counters, Feedback forms etc. Also, you get quite a lot of webspace! It doesnt tak elong to fill 15mb which is what you usually get. Also yo do get a few extras, like you can be connected to any ISP and you will still be able to uploads to F2S, which is usefull ... Read the complete review

When i found out about the free webspace given by freedom2surf.net i was overjoyed the features were fantastic and i could not have asked for more from a provider of free webspace, cgi-bin and pop3 access...but when i had a problem i emailed them again and again and i still had no reply. I did not recieve an automated response and i found the little help on there website useless. It is all well and good providing a load of excellent features but the support has to be there afterwards! ...
