Advantages: Cheap at the moment, Good home page, No call charges 24/7
Disadvantages: Slow , Poor search engine, Premium rate help line
I have been with freeserve now for about 12 months and although now I am relatively happy with the introductory offer of £6.99 for the freeserve Anytime package I am still looking out for a new provider. The reason for this is the sometimes hit and miss search engine it uses on some days it is about as much use as a chocolate ashtray and gets very frustrating when you ask it to find the most simple things and it keeps coming back with use advanced search which you use and it still doesn?t find what you want, the other thing is that on some days it is so slow I think you could look it up in the Encyclopaedia Britannica find the place, visit it, buy the tea shirt and get back before the little blue line has reached the end.
They have also increased the price to £13.99 which is almost what AOL charge but you do get a freephone help line with AOL where as freeserve charge 50p a minute.
