My connection disappeared one day with no warning - after three weeks of speaking to technical support in India, who just kept repeating whatever i was saying but could not actually get my internet connection up and running, i gave up and left Orange/Wanadoo. The worst service i have ever encountered

I have personally been using freeserve/wanadoo for about 18 months. During this period we have experienced only one minor service outage and consistently good data transfer rates. The qualities of the technical support services have been consistently excellent in my opinion. The only time i thought that they were wrong ... Read the complete review

If you are reading this then you probably have internet access of some description, be it from home or work. If you are reading this from work and are considering going online at home, or you are just after a new ISP for your home access then look no further than Freeserve. Well i would just like to advise anybody considering changing their isp (internet service provider) to freeserve, to do so now! I have had freeserve anytime for a couple of years, and it is great. It not only has the cheapest price for an anytime contract (you only pay a certain amouunt per month, and that is it), but offers a ... Read the complete review

I signed up for Freeserve HomeTime around a year ago, for the price of £6.99 per month or thereabouts, and recently noticed I was getting frequent disconnections. I e-mailed the company (not an easy thing to do, as they do not provide an e-mail address, instead they insit you wirte your question on the site and then send it to them) ... I shall assess Freeserve's Anytime package in the aspect of that I have a second line. FS offers anytime access for £13.99 a month. Note: This is NOT "always-on". You dial in to the service, taking about 45 seconds, and then you are connected for two hours. After this you must redial. FS's ... Read the complete review

I am from the US, and service is number one because if you can't or won't provide customer service then someone else will. I joined freeserve through there one month free sign-up promotional disc. To me...one month free means ONE MONTH FREE. I popped in their disc and continued through the process. I followed all the steps to ... Read the complete review

Not too bad, i have freeserve anytime and it is okay for the price. But apparantly they have doubled ??? the network capacity. It seems like it has been cut in half. Sometimes my computer has to dial up 8 or more times to connect since the server is frequently engaged. Often even after all this my connection only tends to last 10 mins ... After seeing Freeserve's great deal for a one month free trial I couldn't wait to sign up. In a few simple steps on their website ( www.freeserve.com ) I had downloaded the dial up software and given them all the information they needed. I phoned up my old service Provider ( Bt Internet ) and said I was unhappy with their service ... Read the complete review

Lets be honest, I have surfed the net since before everyone was getting online. In those days it cost too much to spend any sort of REAL length of time online, and so the net was never really explored. Now there are so many packages aiming to get you unlimited time online that you are spoilt for choice as an ISP user. I have ... Read the complete review

When I joined Freeserve I worried about the service they provided. I had read many people say about how slow they were or that prices will keep going up. But after my free month had ended I was so happy. I can always connect first time and only get cut off after I have been only for 2 hours , which is only to cut off people that might ... I have used Freeserve as my ISP more or less since they started out and my subscription evolved from a standard dial up to moving to unlimited calls at weekends and evenings. Last December Freeserve emailed me about more changes to the service and it became a more economical option to switch to Freeserve Anytime which should have been ... Read the complete review

Having been reasonably happy with Freeserve at the end of last year, their advertising campaign did not really bother me. However, the more the campaign ran, the worse their service got. Having been disconnected prematurely a couple of times in three months, I now found I was being diconnected almost hourly. Playing games like ... Read the complete review

You`ve seen the adverts, a bunch of 60`s free love, wife swapping hippies in miscellaneous woods and nudists cooking bacon, amongst others... I suppose that they were going for comedy. Of course this in it`s self is funny, seeing as their technical support department is pure comedy. You could send up to ten emails asking just ... Read the complete review

Watch out for any ISPs who say their plans are unlimited because if you are using them too much, the sofware you use to connect to the internet has a hidden number in your registry which they can change at any time when people use the service too much. If you check your registry for your ISP's dial-in number and see if they have an ... Read the complete review

Ive been with freeserve now ever since i first used the internet and i have always had excelent service from them.
