I became a member of Gateway about 4 years ago, simply because I had bought a Gateway computer which was configured to access their registration page. My first surprise was the availability of e-mail addresses, I managed to acquire my surname without the usual combination of numbers etc. Unfortunately I was given a complicated alphanumerical username and password that cannot be altered, although they have become easy to remember with time.
