Why pay for IC (internet calls) when you can get them from IC (IC24)

IC 24 were one of the first to give free 0800 internet access for no charge. At the moment there are only 2, X-Stream and IC 24 and IC 24 is better by a long way.
At the time of writing, IC 24 provide access to the internet from 8pm till midnight everyday until the end of January. The service is likely to extend well past this date as it has after other deadlines.
The access is not that bad either. It is quick on a 56k connection.
A bad part of the service is that it has a 1 hour cut off period, but hey - it's free.
If you are thinking of signing up, do and after you have, sign up for the Scotish version (it does allow UK subscribers) which uses a different number and you are most likely to get through first time.
